The project consisted of the installation of a city-furnished temporary pump station including foundation, electrical and piping hook ups and perimeter fencing; demolition of existing pump station including selective removal of mechanical and electrical systems; relocation, and/or salvage of misc. equipment. The work also consists of a new pump station including foundations and retaining walls; new pumps, motors and related appurtenances, trenching and pipeline and conduit construction; compressed air system, SCADA and I&C control systems; perimeter security fence, grading & drainage, irrigation & landscape improvements. Additionally work performed included excavation & replacement of soil at the storage tank, trenching and construction of new inlet and outlet pipelines and conduit to & from the tank; reconstruction of the tank pipe tunnel; tree & vegetation removal; landscape restoration & maintenance. The project is located in the City and County of San Francisco.
